ILLUSTRATIONS

My work is an exploration of Contemporary Folk Art used for commercial illustration and package design. My hand-drawn illustration feels honest and inclusive through its simplistic, naïve flat compositions.

I am constantly experimenting and enjoy creating artwork with minimalist line work or a blocky linocut aesthetic, paired with a slightly muted, grounding earthy colour palette and a pop of color for contrast. My work blends global cultural influences with a modern twist of surf culture, tropical botany, and my primitive and stylized interpretation of both terrestrial and oceanic creatures.

I focus on translating the things I see into a personal, abstract, and instinctive visual language, resulting in designs that are genuine, authentically human, and full of character.

Please reach out if you wish to work together.
